Benjamin Turner
PM + Builder + Leader.
I am product manager working in healthtech: fax workflows, EHR integrations, AI document processing are all in my purview. Before that I ran bike share programs in Nebraska and Iowa for seven years, built our non-profit from 5 stations to a 70-station, 3-county network.
At the end of the day these are the same job: find something that needs to exist, figure out how to build it, don’t stop until it works.
The pattern
- Lincoln Bike Share — Won a $2.5M municipal contract and launched from contract signing to opening day in fewer than 4 months. Industry standard is 8+. Won “most trips per bike per day” in year one.
- E-bikes at Heartland — First in the BCycle ecosystem. Took two years of convincing. Launched. 118% ridership increase, “Most Improved” at BCycle World.
- Heartland at scale — 5 stations to 70, 3-county network, $3M+ raised, second multi-state bike share in the US at the time.
- Documo AI tool — 50+ customer interviews, one clear insight, one product.
- Wisp — Built a search layer for Jiminny call transcripts when the native tool didn’t cut it. Fired up Claude Code and built it because I needed it.
What I do
Product strategy, discovery, roadmaps, and the messy work between “this should exist” and “this ships.” I’ve done it in healthtech, mobility, and civic infrastructure. I am going to use the best tools available to get my hands dirty; not just because it’s my job, but because sometimes the fastest way to prove something works is to build it yourself.
Omnium Growth Partners is where I think out loud and share my work. If you’re building something that doesn’t exist yet, get in touch.
